Driving to Korean BBQ in Cheongdam: what the valet listing does and does not tell you
Seolya Galbi Cheongdam lists valet parking on its official shop-information page. That makes it a possible dinner choice if your group is arriving by car, but the page does not publish a valet fee, a free-parking period, or a guarantee that a space will be available at your arrival time. Confirm those details with the restaurant rather than treating “valet available” as “parking included.”
Give the driver the street address, not just the station name
The restaurant’s address is 18 Seolleung-ro 152-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the first and second floors. Apgujeong Rodeo Station Exit 4 is about 414 metres away according to the official Korean shop page. The station is a useful landmark, but the restaurant is in Cheongdam, not at a generic “Apgujeong BBQ” address. Show a taxi driver the Korean address, 서울 강남구 선릉로152길 18, to avoid a similarly named destination.
If one guest takes the train while another drives, agree on the restaurant address as the meeting point. Do not infer a walking route or parking entrance from the dining-room photos; ask the venue where vehicles should pull in.
Three questions to settle before a car-based dinner
- Is valet operating at the booked arrival and departure times, and what is the current fee?
- If several cars arrive, can the venue handle them together, or should guests use a nearby paid lot?
- If you also need a private room, is the requested room confirmed separately from the table reservation?
The official room page lists one four-person room and two six-person rooms. Online reservations cover two to six guests; room assignment and parties of seven or more call for direct confirmation. Those seating conditions matter more than a blanket “valet-friendly” label when organising a business dinner.
Before travelling, check the current valet fee and vehicle entrance with the restaurant. If the group needs a private room as well, confirm that request separately from the parking arrangements.
